iOptron GEM45 is a professional equatorial mount (EQ) designed for visual observations and for astrophotography with the use of the largest optical tubes. Thanks to the use of high-class materials and innovative design solutions, iOptron engineers have created a product that sets new standards in the class of light assemblies adapted to carrying heavy loads.

The metal head of the assembly houses a precise drive system composed of high-resolution stepper motors, from which the torque is transferred to the declination and right ascension axes by means of a belt transmission. The highest precision of guiding the set is ensured by an advanced system of permanent periodic error correction, thanks to which its value is lower than seven arc seconds.

The assembly is adapted to work with the Go2Nova® 8407+ controller. This device contains in its database information about the location of over 212,000 objects, which opens up completely new observation possibilities for the user, providing hundreds of hours of exposure to the best views that the night sky offers. Also included is the AccuAlign ™ polar finder scope.

Attention! The specification applies to the assembly of the GEM45 (7603A) without a built-in guiding camera as in the GEM45G (7603AG) version, a control computer from the GEN45-NUC model (7603AN), and also without high-precision encoders from the GEM45-EC version (7603ECA) ).
