The Rusan ARM52 QR adapter is a professional solution that allows you to attach the night-vision and thermal imaging cap to the lens of the day telescope in a precise, reliable and fast manner at the same time.
How to choose a Rusan adapter for a hunting cap
The first step is to choose the adapter size for your day scope. To do this, measure the outer diameter of the lens with a caliper. In the second step, we check whether our optoelectronic device has a 52 mm mounting thread. If so, no additional adapter is required. If not, reduction adapters are available (eg for Pulsar DFA, for Hikvision Thunder and others). The complete adapter enabling the attachment of the cap to the telescope creates a clamp, an adapter with the size corresponding to the outer diameter of the target lens and a reduction adapter, if needed.
How to properly connect the night vision / thermal imager with the daytime optical sight?
After screwing the reduction ring to the adapter clamp, slide the complete adapter over the telescope objective and lock it with the QR (quick release) lever. A precisely fitted adapter overlaps the telescope lens by about 6 mm. The large mounting surface guarantees a rigid and safe connection with the telescope and resistance to the recoil of large-caliber hunting weapons. The assembly takes only a few seconds and we can easily handle it even in the fishery. It is worth emphasizing that the buckle of each adapter can be precisely adjusted in the range of 0.2 mm, and its interior is covered with a special foil that protects the optics from scratching and strengthens the connection stiffness. The last step is to attach the night-vision and thermal imaging cap to the adapter and block it with the ring.
