The Rusan ARM52 QR adapter is a professional solution that allows you to attach the night vision and thermal imaging cap to the lens of the daytime telescope in a precise, secure and fast way at the same time.
How to choose a Rusan adapter for a hunting cap
The first step is to choose the size of the adapter for your daytime scope. To do this, use a caliper to measure the outer diameter from the side of the lens. In the second step, we check whether our optoelectronic device has a 52 mm mounting thread. If so - no additional adapter is required. If not, reduction adapters are available (e.g. for Pulsar DFA, for Hikvision Thunder and others). A complete adapter for mounting the cap on the telescope consists of an adapter buckle with a size corresponding to the outer diameter of the viewfinder's lens and a reduction adapter, if needed.
How to properly connect the night vision/thermal attachment to the daytime optical sight?
After tightening the reduction ring to the adapter clamp, the complete adapter should be slid over the telescope's objective and locked with the QR (quick release) lever. The precisely fitted adapter overlaps the telescope lens by about 6 mm. The large mounting surface guarantees a rigid and safe connection with the scope and resistance to the recoil of large-caliber hunting weapons. Assembly takes only a few seconds and we can easily handle it even on the fishery. It is worth emphasizing that the clamp of each adapter has the possibility of precise adjustment in the range of 0.2 mm, and its interior is covered with a special foil that protects the optics against scratches and strengthens the rigidity of the connection. The last step is to connect the night vision and thermal imaging attachment to the adapter and lock it with a ring.
