The Askar 80PHQ is an astrograph that, thanks to its optical characteristics, will be perfect for the hands of people taking their first steps in professional astrophotography, as well as as the basic optical tube in the arsenal of the most experienced and demanding users. As an alternative to the 107PHQ telescope, this model is ideal for completing a mobile observation and photographic set with less and less assembly.
The heart of this telescope is a four-element apochromatic optics with an air gap. In order to ensure the best possible correction of chromatic aberrations, Askar designers decided to use a solution known from the most expensive, flagship apochromats, namely the use of two lenses made of glass with reduced dispersion (ED). In addition to the excellent color reproduction, Askar 80PHQ is characterized by a negligible field curvature, thanks to which, even without the use of an additional flattener, the image on the edge of the frame is free from noticeable distortions.
The possibilities of this telescope are not limited to astrophotography, however. This instrument makes it possible to conduct visual observations after connecting the angular adapter or glasses with a diameter of 1.25 ".
In addition to impeccable optical parameters, Askar 80PHQ is characterized by high quality and precision of mechanical parts.
