Artesky AZB2 is a lightweight and mobile azimuth mount designed to be mounted on tripods equipped with a standard 3/8 "photographic thread.
This assembly is equipped with two belt transmissions with coarse and fine adjustment, which additionally cooperate with roller bearings. This combination makes the adjustment of the position of the optical instrument not only extremely accurate, but also very light and smooth. Both gears are also equipped with brakes, thanks to which, after placing an interesting object in the center of the telescope's field of view, you can quickly lock its position.
Despite its low weight, the Artesky AZB2 can bear up to fifteen kilograms, which places it at the forefront of this type of product available on the market. Moreover, for a better balance of heavy optical instruments, it is possible to install a counterweight arm.
In order to mount the telescope, one should equip with an appropriate plate with a mounting socket, which is connected with the mount by means of M8 screws.
