Antlia ALP-T 5 nm 36 mm is a professional astrophotographic filter that transmits the Hα (656.3 nm) and OIII (500.7 nm) bands. The filter has been designed to work with reflex cameras (DSLR) and color cameras, as well as with monochrome cameras, in the case of which it allows to accelerate the signal acquisition process by simultaneous exposure of the matrix to two of the three basic spectral lines.
This filter is characterized by a half-width of the transmission bands of only 5 nm, which, combined with the complete separation of the Hα and OIII bands, makes the ratio signal to noise, which ultimately translates into a noticeable improvement in sharpness and contrast. The high optical efficiency for the transmitted bands is coupled with a high optical density for the blocked range, thanks to which this filter effectively eliminates the negative influence of light pollution, making it possible to take pictures even near large cities.
Warning! Antlia ALP-T 5 nm 36 mm is not recommended for visual observations. Under no circumstances should it be used to observe the Sun! • high transmittance for Hα and OIII bands with simultaneous efficient blocking of other spectral lines • designed for cooperation with digital SLR cameras, as well as monochrome and color astronomical cameras • dedicated to cooperation with astrographs with a maximum light of f / 3.6 or darker • designed to work in an environment with strong light pollution • filter type: dual-range filter • Filter diameter: 36 mm • filter thickness: 2 ± 0.05 • filter shape: round • transmitted bands: Hα, OIII • position of the maximum peak transmittance (CWL) for the Hα band: 656.3 nm • Half bandwidth (FWHM): 5 nm • maximum transmission: 90% • location of the maximum peak transmittance (CWL) for the OIII band: 500.7 nm • Half bandwidth (FWHM): 5 nm • maximum transmission:> 82% • blocked bands: mercury lamps (435.8 nm, 546.1 nm, 577 nm, 578.1 nm), sodium lamps (598 nm, 589.6 nm, 615.4 nm, 616.1 nm) • near infrared blocking: up to 1100 nm • equivalent optical density for blocked lines:> OD4.5 (300 - 1100 nm) • Antlia ALP-T 5 nm 36 mm dual-range filter 36 months
