• detachable steel clip The body of the Fenix E20 V2.0 flashlight is made of hardened aluminum, subjected to the HA-III hard anodizing process, thanks to which the tube and the head of the flashlight are resistant to scratches, abrasion and mechanical damage.
After reducing the dimensions of the flashlight by 27 mm, it is more handy and comfortable to use. After modernization, the flashlight weighs only 42 g, which is about as much as the 18650 cell.
The knurled aluminum surface improves the grip and prevents the flashlight from slipping out of the hand. The flashlight is operated by the rear switch, which is responsible for activating the light and for changing modes. A steel, removable clip allows you to attach the flashlight to a belt, pocket or backpack. The light source is an efficient SST20 diode, which in high mode emits a stream of 350 lumens with a brightness of 3950 candela and a range of 126 m. The light is evenly and widely diffused thanks to the patented collimating lens with Al + UV coating.
The only 3 mm thick collimator minimizes light loss and provides an efficient beam width of up to 85 °. There are 4 light modes available to the user: eco, low, medium and high. A useful feature is the use of eco light, often referred to as "lunar" light, with a luminous flux.
In this mode, the flashlight can work up to 200 hours. Such a small glow is enough to discreetly illuminate a purse, hip kidney or to open the lock on a door. The flashlight is powered by two AA alkaline batteries, which can be replaced with Ni-MH batteries. The advantage of such a power supply is its easy availability, low cost and low weight. The flashlight is operated by the rear switch, which is responsible for activating / deactivating the light and changing the modes (with a half-click). A simple interface combined with a back button operated by one hand increase the comfort of everyday use. Several security systems are used in the flashlight, incl. reverse polarity protection, low voltage warning and "smart protection" against overheating.
The high protection class IP68 makes the flashlight resistant to complete immersion in water (to a depth of 2 m), dust, dirt and fall.
