Fenix PD32 V2.0 is a new version of the universal PD32 flashlight, which after modernization has a beam of 1200 lumens, 395 m effective range and a simple interface with 4 useful modes. The tube of the flashlight is made of anodized aluminum A6061-T HA-III, which guarantees high resistance to damage and solid construction. Thanks to the transverse knurling of the surface, the flashlight does not slip out of the hand, and its grip is clearly perceptible.
The optical system is secured by a crown that protects the lens during a fall and allows the use of the flashlight for self-defense. The flashlight is handy, its length is 129 mm, the weight without batteries is only 82 g, which is about as much as a compact folding knife.
Thanks to the detachable clip, the flashlight can be attached to a belt, backpack or tactical vest. The flashlight has a high protection class IP68, therefore it is resistant to dust, dust, full immersion in water to a depth of 2 m and a fall from a height of 1 m. The light source is the latest Osram diode - KW CSLPM1.TG, emitting a maximum light stream of 1200 lumens. Thanks to the use of a smaller matrix, the light emitted by the diode can be perfectly focused, which translates into a large flashlight range of up to 395 m.
The new diode has a lower forward voltage and can be powered by a higher current, which also results in a stronger beam of light. The natural white color of the light reduces eye fatigue, provides more natural color rendering and better visibility of details.
The flashlight uses anti-reflective glass with high light transmission and a smooth reflector that reflects a concentrated beam of light at a distance of up to 395 m.
Such light parameters make the flashlight perfect for many forms of outdoor activity, including hiking, camping, hunting. The user has at his disposal 3 modes of constant light: high, medium, low and 1 flash mode: strobe. Limiting the modes is a deliberate measure that affects the functionality and transparency of the interface.
The flashlight is operated by the rear tactical switch, which is responsible for turning the flashlight on / off, changing modes and activating the strobe. Fenix PD32 V2.0 can be powered by a 18650 battery or 2 single-use CR123 batteries. Flashlight remembers the last used brightness level. When turned on again, the flashlight will automatically activate in this mode (with the strobe off). Fenix PD32 V2.0 also has overheating protection. In order to lower the temperature, the controller reduces the brightness by a few lumens, which allows you to turn on the turbo mode again.
