• two-position clip The body of the Fenix E1 V2.0 flashlight is made of hardened aluminum, subjected to the HA-III hard anodizing process, thanks to which the tube and the head of the flashlight are resistant to scratches, abrasion and mechanical damage.
After reducing the dimensions of the flashlight by 12 mm, it is more handy and comfortable to use. After modernization, the flashlight weighs only 27 g, which is as much as the popular battery of a finger.
The knurled aluminum surface improves the grip and prevents the flashlight from slipping out of the hand. We activate the flashlight and change the modes in the traditional way, using the rear switch. The light source is efficient LED Match CA18 with a cold color, which in high mode emits a stream of 160 lumens with a brightness of 1133 candelas and a range of 68 m. The light is evenly and widely diffused (86 °) thanks to the use of an ultra-thin collimating lens. There are 3 light modes available to the user: low, medium and high. In the high mode, the flashlight can work up to 60 minutes, in the low mode of 5 lumens up to 70 hours!
The 5-lumen illumination is sufficient to discreetly illuminate the interior of a purse, toolbox or to open a door lock. The flashlight is powered by one AA alkaline battery, which can also be replaced with a Ni-MH rechargeable battery. The advantage of such a power supply is its easy availability, low cost and imperceptible weight of the flashlight.
The long operation time of the flashlight is due to the use of a driver that does not consume electricity in standby mode. The flashlight is activated and the modes are changed using the rear switch. Fenix E12 V2.0 has an alternative brightness mode, operated by a rotating head. Regardless of the method, the flashlight can be conveniently operated with one hand even in complete darkness.
The minimalist interface makes the flashlight perfect for everyday applications where we usually just need quick access to the light. The functionality of the E12 V2.0 model is significantly improved by a two-position clip, thanks to which we can attach the flashlight to the peak of the cap and use it as a headlamp. The flashlight uses a driver with linear operating characteristics. This means that the flashlight automatically reduces the flux when the battery voltage drops (reduces the mode). The flashlight will operate normally until the battery is completely exhausted.
The high protection class IP68 makes the flashlight resistant to complete immersion in water (to a depth of 2 m), dust, dirt and fall.
