Sharpstar 100Q II APO ED 100/580 f / 5.8 is the latest version of the highly regarded Sharpstar 100Q model belonging to an extremely narrow range of refractors, which include instruments that successfully combine the features of a professional astrograph with high light intensity and a telescope for visual observations.
Obtaining excellent image quality with perfectly corrected chromatic aberration and field curvature is guaranteed by the optics in the apochromatic quadruplet system with a single lens made of low-dispersion glass (ED). In addition, all optical surfaces are covered with a full multilayer coating (FMC), which by eliminating internal light reflections significantly improves the contrast of the image obtained.
