The reinforced 30 mm tube is made of 6061-T6 aviation aluminum, which guarantees resistance to recoil, corrosion and mechanical damage. The sight weighs only 615 g, which makes it one of the lightest in this class of optics. The anodized tube has a very durable anti-reflective finish to prevent scratching and abrasion. Precise sealing and argon filling of the optics, completely eliminates the problem of internal fogging of the lenses and ensures resistance to rain, snow and immersion in water. The outer lenses are covered with a hard Armortek coating that protects against scratches, dirt, moisture and oils. Such construction means that the telescope can be safely used in all weather conditions, without fear of damage to the optics.
Excellent image quality
The Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50 FFP 30 mm AO XLR-2 uses HD lenses that guarantee amazing resolution, edge-to-edge sharpness, extremely faithful color reproduction and a very bright image without distortions resulting from chromatic aberration. HD lenses are made of glass with a low coefficient of dispersion, which ensures excellent resolution and contrast. Another advantage of this type of glass is relatively low density, thanks to which the optics is lighter.
The impressive quality of vision was achieved thanks to the apochromatic lens system (APO system), which focuses three wavelengths (red, blue and green) on the same plane. The parameter that distinguishes the Vortex Razor LHT from the competition is the impressive light transmission, which influences the brightness of the image even in unfavorable lighting conditions. Multilayer anti-reflective XR coatings were applied to all air-to-glass surfaces, the result is very clear and clear vision of the target even at 22x magnification.
Illuminated reticle
The Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50 FFP 30 mm scope uses the XLR-2 reticle in the foreground, with an illuminated cross, which is an invaluable aid during hunting after dusk or at dawn. The XLR-2 provides detailed ballistic data while maintaining a clear and undistorted image when shooting at long distances. The FPP grid (in the foreground) changes its size depending on the magnification, enabling comfortable reading and precise application of corrections. The field of view per 100 m ranges from 7.83 m (magnification 4.5 ×) to 1.56 m (magnification 22 ×). The reticle allows you to precisely determine the distance, compensate for precipitation, apply wind correction and calculate the parameters of a moving target. Depending on our preferences, at the time of purchase, we can choose between a mesh expressed in MOA or MRAD.
To turn on the backlight and change the brightness level, there is a side button (in the parallax drum), thanks to which the operation of this function is instinctive and convenient. A multi-stage range of backlight adjustment allows shooting in various weather conditions and with changing lighting. The large distance from the exit pupil (102 mm) causes the shooter's eyesight to remain relaxed, as entering the target does not have to adapt to the field of view. This allows the use of the scope by people using corrective lenses and protects against the recoil of large-caliber weapons. Locked drums with knurled covers are used to adjust the net. The RevStop Zero System mechanism is used in the telescope, which enables a quick restoration of the initial settings. For the shooter, this means that he is free to make any corrections and return to the original zero point at any time.
Parallax adjustment
The side parallax knob allows you to smoothly compensate for the parallax error (point of view affecting the aiming point) when taking your eyes off the target.
