Vortex Recon R / T 15 × 50 is an armored tactical monocular designed for observation and estimation of the distance to the target, which uses low dispersion glass lenses, anti-reflective XR coatings and MRAD reticle.
The monocular was designed with long-range observation and shooting in mind, thanks to which it will be perfect for sport shooting, hunting and the work of uniformed services.
Armored construction
The monocular tube is covered with a rubber armor, thus ensuring resistance to mechanical damage and weather conditions. The telescope weighs only 431 g, making it handy and convenient to carry. Precise sealing and argon filling of the optics, completely eliminates the problem of internal fogging of the lenses and ensures resistance to rain, snow and immersion in water. The outer lenses are covered with a hard Armortek coating that protects against scratches and dirt. Such construction means that the monocular can be safely used in all weather conditions, without fear of damaging the optics. The Recon R / T is equipped with a metal clip, a nylon handle and a standard 1/4 20 socket that allows the scope to be mounted on a tripod. Thanks to such solutions, the telescope can be moved (on a belt, vest or equipment) and convenient for observation.
Clear and bright picture
The device uses XD lenses that guarantee high contrast, detail, edge-to-edge sharpness, faithful color reproduction and virtually no distortions resulting from the presence of chromatic aberration. XD lenses are made of glass with a low coefficient of dispersion. Another advantage of this type of glass is relatively low density, thanks to which the optics is a bit lighter. Multilayer anti-reflective XR coatings were applied to all air-to-glass surfaces, the result is very clear and clear vision of the target.
