The Delta Optical NachtJaeger NH-3 6x50 is a digital night vision eyepiece which is the successor to the extremely popular NH-1 and NH-2 models. The latest generation of this device has been equipped with, among others, the function of wireless communication implemented through a WiFi module, as well as a microSD card slot with support for cards with a capacity of up to 32 GB.
A CMOS sensor with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 px is responsible for the recording of the image, which allows to record movies in Full HD quality and cooperates with a lens with a magnification of 6 and an aperture of 50 mm. In order to reduce electronic noise and ensure the highest image quality, the device software allows you to change the sensor sensitivity level, depending on the current lighting conditions.
In the night vision mode, the device operation can be supported by a built-in infrared LED illuminator emitting radiation with a wavelength of 850 nm, with the option of a three-step intensity adjustment. Thanks to this, the maximum range of this monocular at night is up to 350 meters, which means that this equipment can successfully compete with even much more expensive competitors.
