Please note that flatteners have a fixed backfocus, i.e. the distance from the lens cell to the primary focus, e.g. camera's sensor. Generally, focal reducers' (Barlow lenses) reduction (magnification) ratio varies with the distance from the primary focus, and they can be used at various powers. However, if they additionally are correctors or flatteners the backfocus needs to be set to a strict value and can't be tampered with. This means that to ensure a correct optical effect, a specified distance needs to be set by the user, sometimes with a precision of 0.1 mm. All products with adjusted length do have a manufacturer-specified distance listed somewhere in the manual/website. If not, a typical assumption for photography is a 55 mm backfocus. If your camera doesn't come with a 55 mm backfocus solution, or your setup is customized, please note following products which completely solve the issue:
