Asterion EQ5 DriveKit Pro is a complete set that allows you to convert a traditional equatorial mount to a complete GoTo system, which will be perfect both for visual observations and for running an astrophotographic set.

The drive is realized by two bipolar motors connected with the declination (DEC) and right ascension (RA) axes via belt transmissions. Thanks to the inclusion of all the necessary accessories to the set, their installation is hassle-free and very intuitive.

The operation of the entire system is supervised by the EQ Star controller equipped with, among others, an ST-4 connector and a GPS receiver. The controller can be controlled from a computer (wired) or a smartphone or tablet (via WiFi network), and also independently with a manual remote control. Due to full compatibility with the ASCOM standard, the set is compatible with most popular astronomy and astrophotography programs.
