Many users, however, are looking for a solution that would allow them to enrich their observation sets with, for example, a basic tracking system, significantly increasing the comfort of use.

Asterion Ecliptica Pro 55 is a high-class equatorial platform designed for cooperation with Dobsonians with a maximum mirror diameter of 12 inches. As with equatorial mounts, the Asterion platform allows you to enjoy a stable image while tracking objects parallel to the celestial equator. Thanks to this, it is possible not only to conduct visual observations, but also to start the adventure with astrophotography of the moon and planets of the solar system.

The assembly is guided in cycles of about 60 minutes, after which the assembly should be returned to its starting position. What is extremely important, the use of the Asterion Ecliptica Pro 55 platform does not limit the possibility of mounting Dobson in any way, thus allowing a free selection of the observed objects.

Attention! Before starting the observation, the platform must be carefully leveled and set in accordance with the NS axis (the drive should be directed to the south). According to the manufacturer's recommendation, the platform can be used in the northern and southern hemisphere in places between 52 and 58 degrees of latitude.
