Meade LX65 6 "ACF f / 10 is a professional catadioptric telescope mounted on an automated azimuth mount, designed for both visual observations and planetary astrophotography.

The heart of this instrument is the aplanatic optical system made in Advanced Coma-Free ™ technology, which guarantees an extremely sharp, astigmatism-free image. The LX65 6 "ACF f / 10 model is also equipped with an enlarged main mirror made of borosilicate glass with reduced expansion. This makes the instrument much better use of the entire field of view, being at the same time less sensitive to changes in thermal conditions.

All optical elements are additionally covered with anti-reflective UHTC ™ coating, which transmits over 20% more light than other multilayer coatings. Thanks to the use of this technology, the obtained images are very bright and high-contrast.

The optical tube is mounted on an azimuth mount with a head that allows for the installation of an additional telescope or guider. The assembly is controlled by the Meade AudioStar ™ controller, which has a database of 30,000 objects in its database.
