Orion 50/162 guide scope. A 50 mm lens with a bright f / 3.2 optics allows for bright, wide-angle images and allows for guiding images with long exposure times with telescopes up to 1500 mm, also with autoguiders with small chipset sizes. We attach the scope either as a separate finder or even in place of the existing finder (standard Vixen / SkyWatcher foot). It is a much cheaper method than buying a separate guiding tube with assembly and easier to set up than the off-axis guider (OAG).
A characteristic feature is the convenient adjustment of the focus at the back of the scope, by means of a helical, non-rotating extractor. • 50 mm f / 3.2 guide scope with 1.25 "exit, 1.25" or T-2 nose mount • holder for a telescope with adjustment • dovetail footer • flat mounting foot with a 1/4 inch threaded female socket • non-rotating helical focuser (maintains the frame) • Allen key | • Diameter: | 50 mm | | • Focal length: | 162 mm | | • lighted: | f / 3.2 | | • Optical construction: | achromatic doublet with air gap, MC | | • Sharpening system: | by lens rotation + helical focuser | | • Tube material: | aluminum | | • Tube length: | approx. 175 mm | | • Tube diameter: | 53.4 mm | | • Diameter of the reef: | 57.45 mm | | • Finder adjustment screws: | plastic, 3 pcs, M6 | | • Screws securing the camera / eyepiece / connector: | aluminum, 3 pcs, M4 | | • Diameter of the output to the camera / eyepiece / connector: | 1.25 "/ 31.7mm | | • Tube weight: | approx. 550 g |
