In response to the opinions of users of the ACL 200 f / 4 APO lenses, the Askar company launched their second generation, equipped with a modified mounting ring with an additional Vixen foot.

Both the older and the refreshed versions are identical in terms of optics, the only difference is the lack of the guider or ASIAIR computer. This means that thanks to the ACL200 Upgrade Kit, owners of the first variant of the ACL200 f / 4 APO lens can upgrade their astrophotography set to the latest specification in just a few minutes.
