The Baader H-alpha narrowband filter (35 nm) allows obtaining images of the H-II regions with the highest contrast at the shortest possible exposure times. Its narrow band in the H-alpha region has a transmission of over 95%. At the same time, it completely eliminates pollution with anthropogenic light. The filter has been extremely precisely ground so that the surfaces are perfectly parallel and accurate to 1 / 4λ (1/4 of the wavelength) over the entire surface. Plasma-applied and ion-cured multi-layer dielectric coatings are extremely hard and durable. The coatings in this filter are not damaged by normal use and cleaning.
Due to the wider transmission bandwidth (half width) of the H-alpha filter (35 nm) compared to the H-alpha filter (7 nm), amounting to 35 nm, this filter can be successfully applied to cameras type Interline-CCD, which are usually less sensitive than ordinary CCD cameras. • type: narrowband, H-alpha, λ = 656.3 nm • binding: 2 " • FWHM / half width: 35 nm • transmission Tmax = 95% • substrate: glass • layers: MC • weight: 70 g 24 months
