TS-Optics 102/1122 F / 11 ED 2.5 "RAP is a high-class optical tube that combines features desirable in both observation and astrophotographic equipment.

The two-element optical system is responsible for obtaining the highest image quality with perfectly corrected chromatic aberration. The low-dispersion lens is made of FPL-51 glass, which is one of the best optical materials available today. Glass of this type is characterized not only by a high value of the Abbe number (81.54), but also by ease of processing and excellent chemical stability, ensuring resistance to the effects of external.

The telescope is equipped with a solid 2.5-inch diameter rack & pinion, which thanks to its compact structure and precise workmanship guarantees the linearity even when connecting large SLRs. The lift is additionally equipped with double speed knobs, which facilitates the perfect finding of the point of focus.

In addition to excellent optics, this refractor is distinguished by a solid and, at the same time, light construction. The weight of the optical tube is only 4.6 kg, which means that this large telescope can be successfully mounted on an EQ5 class mount.
