The SA-35 LRF V2 thermal imaging sight is one of the flagship models of the Pard company, which specializes in the production of professional thermal imaging equipment. For years Pard products have been widely appreciated by both hunters, security guards and officers of uniformed services, who must always be sure that their equipment is reliable and ready for action at all times.
The optical system of the SA-35 LRF V2 sight is made of germanium. Thanks to the excellent transmission of infrared radiation, this material has become the gold standard and benchmark of top-shelf thermal imaging products many years ago. The uncooled microbolometer with a resolution of 384 x 288 px is responsible for recording the image. This element was manufactured by the Ulis company, which is a supplier of thermal imaging electronics, among others, for the French armed forces.
This device has a housing made of an aluminum alloy with the addition of magnesium and silicon, which has found its application, among others, in the automotive industry, as a material for the construction of suspension elements. The housing has been additionally sealed, thanks to which it meets the requirements of the IP67 standard.
