Meade LX85 70 mm APO is a professional astrograph designed for experienced and demanding astrophotography enthusiasts.
This refractor is equipped with four groups of lenses made of ultra-low dispersion FPL 53 ED optical glass. The use of this type of material is characteristic of the best instruments available on the market, and its optical properties are only slightly lower than those of fluorite glasses, which, however, is much more durable. This type of construction, combined with a full, multi-layer anti-reflective coating, guarantees a detailed and sharp image with excellent contrast and dynamics.
The assembly of the Meade LX85, on which this astrograph is mounted, is an extremely durable and stable structure, the head of which ensures precise location and tracking.
