The William Optics FLAT7A Flattener ensures the maintenance of a uniform image quality - flatness, because the flattener is a "flattener" - both in the center and on the edge of the frame, eliminating the negative impact of the refractor's optical system, as a result of which it moves away from the center of the frame, the sharpness of recorded subjects gradually deteriorates.
