The monochrome Meade DSI-IV Deep Sky Imager 16MP Mono camera is a very universal device that will be perfect for photographing the moon, planets, and deep sky objects such as nebulae or galaxies.
This camera was designed based on the Panasonic MN34230 CMOS sensor which, together with the efficient cooling system, provides a very low noise level of 1.2 e for a gain of 30 db. The 12-bit ADC converter works with the light-sensitive element, thanks to which the image obtained is clear and extremely dynamic.
The device is equipped with a USB 3.0 port for data transfer and two USB 2.0 ports, which can be a power source for a filter wheel or a microfocuser. • Panasonic MN34230 matrix of 4/3 format • 12 bit ADC converter ensuring high dynamic range • recording of 23 frames per second at full resolution in 8-bit mode • very efficient, two-stage cooling system based on the Peltier module • matrix: Panasonic MN34230 (monochrome) • sensor type: CMOS • matrix size: 17.6 x 13.3 mm (4/3 format), diagonal 21.9 mm • matrix resolution: 16 MPix, 4640 x 3506 px • single pixel size: 3.8 µm • capacity well of the potential: 20 ke • quantum efficiency: 60% • exposure time: 150 µs - 3600 s • shutter type: rolling shutter, electronic • back focus: 17.5 mm • fast sensor protecting the matrix: transmission in the range 350 - 1050 nm, anti-reflective coating on both sides • compatible operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux • ports: 1x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0 • cooling system: 2-stage, Peltier cells, maximum power consumption 12 V, 3 A • camera power consumption: 5 V, 3 A • minimum permissible operating temperature: - 10 ° C • maximum permissible operating temperature: 50 ° C • connector: M42x0.75 • dimensions: 88 x 82 x 105 mm • weight: 690 g • Meade DSI-IV Deep Sky Imager 16 MP Mono camera • case • AC adapter • USB 3.0 cable 24 months
