Filtered objective filter for observing the sun. It offers more natural colors and better contrast than solar foils, and is much more durable. The filter lets only a small fraction of the incident beam, ensuring safe observation. It is impervious to infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV).

The filter holder is made of aluminum.
