ZWO ASI 183 GT is a monochrome astronomical camera based on Sony IMX183 sensor. This matrix has a resolution of 5496x3672 pixels and a single pixel size of 2.4 µm.

The camera is equipped with an internal 1.25 "and 31 mm circular filter holder moved by a silent stepper motor. The filter holder is made of an aviation aluminum alloy subjected to a special treatment to prevent the possibility of internal internal light reflections.

The extremely efficient system consisting of 24 heat sinks and two fans with magnetic bearings is responsible for cooling the camera.
