The night vision cap, which is a modernization of the Pulsar Forward F155 cap, produced so far. While maintaining the appearance and functionality of the previous cap, its most important element has been changed - the image sensor. The Forward F455 attachments are equipped with a CMOS sensor with HD720 (1280x720) resolution, which results in a drastic improvement in image quality compared to the previously produced PAL version. The new transducers allow for effective detection of objects at a distance of several hundred meters. The attachments are mounted on the lens of the day scope with a dedicated adapter (available separately). The solid design of the adapter causes that the cap does not cause any problems while aiming, the position of the aiming point is unchanged during the shot. Forward attachments use the latest technological achievements, the device has a built-in image recorder operated with one button, additionally Forward has a WiFi module that allows communication with a mobile device. WiFi communication allows you to send the image to the smartphone screen and to control the basic functions of the device. The attachment is powered by IPS-5 batteries, identical to those used in the Helion, Trail and Accolade thermal imagers. Optional higher capacity batteries are available. The socket is a recoil-resistant device, it can be used with large-caliber firearms (limit caliber is .375 H&H).
Pulsar F455 has a field of view of 6.3 degrees. It is adapted to work with day spotting scopes at magnification from 2x to 8x. The F455 model is equipped with an infrared LED illuminator with a wavelength of 940 nm, invisible to the human eye. The device weighs 460 grams.
