Meade LX85 120/700 is a high-class optical instrument designed for visual observation and use in astrophotography. Its versatile nature makes it the perfect equipment for beginners and intermediate enthusiasts of sky exploration.

The optical system of this telescope was designed on the basis of an achromatic doublet. This type of construction allows to significantly reduce the main optical defect of lenticular telescopes, which is chromatic aberration, while maintaining a long focal length and high light. The maximum usable magnification for the 120/700 model is as much as 240x, which allows you to obtain extremely detailed images with a relatively narrow field of view.
