TS-Optics 70 mm f/5 Quadruplet Flatfield APO is a professional astrograph whose design has been refined down to the smallest details for use in astrophotography.

The optics of this refractor consist of four lenses mounted in two groups. Thanks to the use of carefully selected types of optical glass and a low-dispersion lens made of FPL-53 glass, excellent correction of chromatic aberrations was achieved, which allows for obtaining fully detailed images with faithfully reproduced colors both in the center and at the edges of the field of view.

The instrument is equipped with a solid, three-inch Rack & Pinion extractor with a gear ratio of 1:10 and a maximum permissible load of up to 6 kg. The extractor is integrated with a rotator with a 360° rotation range, allowing for perfect framing of photographed objects, and thanks to the additional M48 thread in it, easy installation of two-inch astronomical filters is possible.
