The Bresser MikroCam SP 5.0 is an advanced digital microscope eyepiece camera that allows capturing images and videos of microscopic specimens in a true 5.0 MPix resolution. When the camera is inserted into the microscope’s eyepiece tube, the optical image is displayed directly on the computer screen, enabling convenient observation, documentation, archiving, and analysis of specimens.
A durable metal housing with a C-mount thread ensures secure installation and broad compatibility with various microscopes. The package includes adapters for 23.2 mm, 30 mm, and 30.5 mm tubes, allowing the camera to be used with most educational, laboratory, and research-grade microscopes.
The included software offers an extensive platform for image acquisition and processing. It supports single-shot photography, video recording (including time-lapse), and features measurement tools, object counting, focus stacking (increasing depth of field by combining frames), and mosaic creation (assembling a larger field of view). The interface is available in multiple languages, including English, German, Polish, and others.
