Neutral density filters (ND - ND4, ND8, ND16, ND32) are great for shooting outdoors in strong sunlight. Without changing the color distribution, they reduce the amount of light reaching the matrix and slow down the shutter.
The PL filter is a polarizing filter that reduces the amount of light and, above all, eliminates glare, for example from water or glass. Increases the saturation of colors.
