The Tele Vue Mars Type B filter is part of the Bandmate series and has been designed specifically for visual observations of the planet Mars. It enhances the contrast of surface details without changing the natural color of the image. It allows you to better see albedo formations, polar caps, and brightness differences between different areas of the planet, even with a moderate telescope aperture.

The filter is made of a selective dielectric coating applied to BK7 optical glass. One side is covered with a broadband anti-reflective coating, which reduces flare and increases image clarity. The whole is enclosed in a precisely made anodized aluminum frame, threaded on both sides for easy mounting in eyepieces or attachments.
