The Tele Vue O-III 2" filter is a precision narrowband filter from the Bandmate Type 2 series, designed for observing nebulae containing strong oxygen emissions - in particular objects such as the Veil Nebula, Dumbbell Nebula, Crab Nebula and Rosette Nebula. It transmits only light in the OIII bands - 496 and 501 nm , while effectively suppressing sky background, city lights and moon glow.

The filter is designed to provide maximum signal bandwidth transmission while maintaining exceptional image quality. Made of optical glass with dielectric and anti-reflective coatings, it provides high durability and resistance to oxidation. Fits eyepieces, diagonals and accessories with a 2" thread.
