The latest, third generation of FLIR Scout brand thermal imagers, is the evolution of the well-known and respected thermal imagers of the FLIR PS basic series. Compared to its predecessors, the third generation offers high resolution of the image as well as the detector, and a significantly improved refreshment rate.
The Flir Scout series are portable infrared cameras that have been designed for field observation, mainly from a free hand.
This technology based on the capture of thermal differences does not require any light at all. Thanks to that it can be used both during the day and at night and in virtually all weather conditions, also in total darkness.
Until now, thermal imaging cameras have been widely used, for example, in professional documenting of animals in its natural environment, unfortunately, due to the very high price, this equipment was not widely available.
