What is the difference between Generation 1 and Generation 2 night vision?
Basic information about night vision technology and the differences between generations can be found in the article How does night vision work? (article in Polish).
What battery does the monocular require? Can rechargeable batteries be used?
The ATN manual specifies one non-rechargeable CR123A 3 V lithium battery. Rechargeable batteries with similar dimensions are available, but compatibility with this model should not be assumed; their use requires confirmation of compatibility from the night vision device manufacturer.
Can this monocular be mounted on a firearm, an airgun or in front of a riflescope?
No. The Night Storm-1 is an observation monocular. It is neither a night vision sight nor a riflescope attachment and is not designed to be mounted on weapons, including airguns.
The floating housing and simple controls make the monocular convenient for night-time observation outdoors and near water. Its 1.5× magnification is suited to surveying the immediate surroundings.
