The Yukon Ranger LT 6.5x42 digital night vision device is a modernized version of the long-known Ranger 5x42, using a much newer and more sensitive new generation CMOS detector instead of the traditional photocathode or popular CCD.
Yukon Ranger LT 6.5x42 provides a clear and sharp image, without the tunneling effect known from conventional 1st generation night vision devices. Inside, there is a new-generation, sensitive CMOS sensor, coupled with an electronic high-sensitivity image sensor. After processing, the image is displayed on the high-resolution LCD panel visible in the device's eyepiece. This makes the Yukon Ranger LT 6.5x42 an innovative solution in the world of night vision. Additionally, we can adjust not only the distance of the sharp image, but also the brightness of the illuminator. The CMOS sensor is insensitive to strong light thanks to the automatic exposure value. This digital night vision device can also be used during the day, without fear of damaging the light-sensitive elements. The double illumination system and the largest among digital night vision devices, up to 6.5x magnification, guarantee a range of several hundred meters, ensuring high contrast and detail of the image.
As the name suggests, the Ranger Series is primarily intended for long-distance observations and is best suited for use with the illuminator switched on. Ranger has as many as two built-in infrared illuminators, including one long-range porthole. Both operate in the 940 nm range, invisible to outside observers and animals, as well as to the majority of night vision devices with a traditional image intensifier. They have a power of up to 115 mW and a narrow radiation angle, thanks to which a lot of reflected energy reaches the detector and the image is readable even at a distance of several hundred meters.
With the LT 6.5x42, good results are achieved when observing game foraging at the edge of the forest, land fencing, objects hidden on unlit roads, tracks, roadsides or in recesses of buildings and construction sites. It is good at observing targets in bushes and trees, and on the surface of water bodies. The device is insensitive to focused light sources, therefore it is perfect for observation in urban areas with strong and variable illumination, without fear of damaging the light-sensitive element.
The device is powered by six 1.5V AA batteries, Ni-MH rechargeable batteries or the included car and stationary chargers.
Yukon Ranger LT 6.5x42 is equipped with PAL video output (CCIR), which allows you to connect an image recording device. The night vision device also has a ¼ ”tripod mount.
We recommend the Yukon Ranger LT 6,5x42 to people who expect a large magnification at an affordable price. He will prove himself in the work of a night watchman, forester, angler and anyone interested in property protection and observers of night nature. It is useful in hunting, night air rifle shooting and airsoft guns. • magnification: 6.5x • Objective diameter: 42 mm • resolution: 40 lines / mm • field of view: 5 ° • diopter adjustment: +/- 4 • IR wavelength: 940 nm • range / residual lighting: 240m • video output: CCIR (PAL compatible) • power supply: 6xAA • image resolution: 640x480 • working temperature: from -20deg; C to + 35 ° C • battery life: 4 (with IR) / 10 hours • dimensions: 170 x 116 x 76 mm • weight: 650 g • notes: digital, daytime operation, video port for recording device 3 years
