The Edge 2.7x50 L night vision binoculars are the newest product of the highest series, branded with the Pulsar name of the well-known Belarusian-American company Yukon. The heart of the night vision device is a unique combination of specially designed R-Contact optics with the CF-Super image intensifier, designed specifically for cooperation with each other, and which cannot be used in any other device in the world! As a result of the application of this extraordinary technological innovation, the highest quality and exceptional image resolution was obtained in the entire field of view "from edge to edge", unprecedented in devices of this class!
The night vision device is equipped with a lens whose specially designed lenses minimize distortions on the edge of the field of view and improve sharpness and contrast. The soft rubber eyecups fit perfectly, cutting off the light emitted by the amplifier, making the observer virtually undetectable at night.
Night vision binoculars are equipped with an infrared illuminator, necessary for observation during moonless, cloudless nights and necessary in complete darkness. The range with the illuminator on is up to 600 m.
The device can be used as a night vision goggle as it is equipped with a ¼ inch mounting that allows for installation on a head mount. The night vision device is very economical - it can work up to 50 hours on two AAA batteries, in the temperature range from -20 to +40. The Edge 2.7x50 L night vision device is ideal for both professional and amateur applications, in particular:
- night observations in the natural environment,
- search and rescue,
- night orientation in the field,
- hunting. The night vision device has been designed to remain fully functional for many years. Among other things, it has a special protection system against bright light, which prevents the converter from burning in the event of a sudden change in brightness. If a bright object (flashlight, spotlight, lamp) appears in the field of view, or when the night vision device is activated during the day, the image becomes dark. After rebooting, the device works as before.
