Celestron Neximage 5 is a high resolution 5 megapixel planetary camera with a very small pixel size of 2.2x2.2 & microm. Thanks to such properties, the camera allows to obtain a large scale of the image useful in planetary observations, guaranteeing at the same time a correspondingly high resolution of the image. Thanks to the Micron Digital Clarity technology, it was possible to significantly reduce the amount of noise. As befits a camera, the NexImage 5 transmits a video stream to the computer, the number of frames per second ranges from 52 fps to 0.7 fps (it is possible to read only from the transmitter part, from the so-called ROI - Region Of Interest ). The camera is accompanied by software allowing for the automatic elimination of blurred frames, with an image disturbed by seeing. The software also allows you to adjust basic camera parameters such as exposure time, gain or color balance. The NexImage 5 camera has a built-in IR Cut filter. USB cable and 1.25 "toe cap included.
Included is a CD containing software: iCap (software for camera operation), Registax (photo processing), camera drivers. | • Resolution: | 5 MPix (possible 9 ROI settings - from 640 x 480 to 2592 x 1944 pixels) | | • Matrix: | 1 / 2.5 "(5.7 x 4.28 mm / 7 mm increments, pixel 2.2 ?m), color, CMOS | | • Speed: | FPS: 640x480: from 6.23 to 52.37 fps; for 2592 x 1944: from 6 fps to 0.7 fps | | • Sensitivity of the matrix: | 0.53 V / lux / s (550 nm) | | • Exposure time: | from 1/10000 to 30 seconds | | • Power supply: | from the USB port of the computer, USB cable 1.5 m in the set | | • Camera mounting diameter: | 1.25 "(31.7 mm) | | • Mounting to the telescope: | instead of an optical eyepiece, in the extractor | | • USB port properties: | USB 2.0 | | • Requirements: | Pentium IV 2.0 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 24 or 32 bit graphics card, Windows XP / Vista / 7 (32 and 64 bit), DirectX 9.0c or higher) | | • Weight: | 45 g (60 g with the nose) |
