Meade 5000 HD-60 glasses in 1.25 inch size are the most advanced 6 element observation glasses from the elite Meade 5000 series. They are characterized by outstanding optical quality and guarantee a flat, sharp image in the whole field of view, in most cases Telescopes.
All optical surfaces are covered with very good MC layers. The whole eyepiece is very well blackened, which additionally eliminates reflections.
Okular is characterized by a very good retraction of the exit pupil equal to 17 mm - thanks to that also people wearing corrective eyeglasses do not lose their peripheral vision field. The eyecup is rolled.
A 4.5 mm focal length lens is a high magnification in telescopes with large and medium-sized light. For example, in the Newton's 150/750 telescope we get a magnification of 750 / 4.5 = 167x, sufficient to observe Cassini's gap and Encke's break in Saturn rings or the M57 planetary nebula in Lutnia under typical viewing conditions.
