Celestron NexStar 4SE is a high-quality telescope based on a Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design with a clear aperture of 102 mm (4"), making it the smallest model in the NexStar SE series. It provides an excellent introduction to observing the Solar System, while also being very well suited for urban use and as a compact travel telescope. The Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system delivers high contrast and sharp images, particularly for lunar and planetary observations. The optics are coated with Celestron’s patented StarBright XLT coatings, which enhance light transmission.
The NexStar 4SE is equipped with a GoTo system featuring a database of nearly 40,000 astronomical objects, allowing fast and convenient object location and tracking. A stable steel field tripod is included in the set.
