The Sky-Watcher SynScan NEQ6 PRO GOTO is a precision equatorial mount for medium- and large-aperture telescopes, combining high payload capacity with precise tracking. It is suitable for both visual observing and astrophotography with guiding. It allows for stable mounting of refractors up to 200 mm (8") and Newtonian telescopes up to 12-14". The maximum payload is 24 kg, and the total weight of the mount with counterweights is 26.5 kg. The mount head features engraved aluminum setting rings, a latitude scale, and a new polar finder for precise mount alignment. It features robust clamps on the RA and DEC axes, a built-in motor drive on both axes, a retractable stainless steel counterweight rod, and two 5.1 kg counterweights. A Vixen and Losmandy 2-in-1 "dovetail" optical tube mount is standard. A steel tripod with a 2" leg diameter ensures high stability of the entire set.
