The Player One LRGB 1.25" S-series filter set (SKU: LRGB125S) includes four mounted broadband filters for astrophotography with a monochrome camera. The L filter records luminance, which provides image brightness and detail, while the R, G and B filters record the red, green and blue channels separately. Combining the recorded data allows a colour astronomical image to be produced.
The filters are made from optical glass with multilayer coatings. Transmission within the passbands is approximately 95%, and near-infrared blocking covers the 700–1100 nm range. Each filter has a 1.25" cell with an M28.5 × 0.6 thread, designed for installation in compatible filter wheels, drawers and holders.
