Dark field condenser for use with Bresser Researcher series microscopes with oil-free objectives

The dry dark field condenser is an optional accessory for the Bresser Erudit DLX, Researcher Bino and Trino microscopes. Ananlyth Bino, BioScience Bino and Trino and Science TRM-301. It also works with Levenhuk 400T (75421) and 400B (75420) microscopes.
The condenser is installed in place of the Abbe condenser.

The use of a dark field condenser in a microscope allows you to increase the contrast of the image of the preparation without the need to stain it. Dark field microscopy is used to examine living specimens, enabling non-invasive examinations and providing the possibility of real-time observations at high magnifications. The principle of this technique is to deliver only light refracted by the sample to the lens. The remaining part of the beam is cut off thanks to a special diaphragm located in the microscope condenser. The result is an image with a brightly glowing specimen on a dark background. The dry dark field condenser should be used with objectives with an aperture of 0.7NA or less. This corresponds to a 40x lens. The dry dark field condenser is used to examine specimens using oil-free lenses.

The Bresser dry dark field condenser works great in Levenhuk 400T and 400B microscopes. The condenser comes to the front of the table and the image is simply expected.
Installation note
Before inserting the dark field condenser, unscrew the illumination diffuser in the microscope. It is then possible to extend the bright field condenser and insert the Bresser dark field condenser.
