The integrated 5 MP camera uses a 1/2.5" Aptina CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The USB 2.0 connection is used both to transfer images to a computer and to power the camera. The included Microsoft Windows software has a Polish-language interface and enables still-image and video recording, distance, angle, area and radius measurements, as well as scale insertion and image printing with or without a scale.
Inserting a scale requires prior calibration with an optional 0.01 mm stage micrometer, which is not included. The microscope can be expanded with accessories for darkfield, phase-contrast and polarised-light observation. This version does not have a built-in battery and cannot subsequently be converted into a battery-powered version.
