Antlia SOLAR 200F4 Ha & CaK 200 mm f/4 Primary Mirror for Solar Newtonian Telescope (Antlia) is a parabolic quartz mirror developed for building a specialised system intended for solar imaging. Its multilayer dielectric coating selectively reflects light in the H-alpha and CaK regions while reducing the amount of energy transmitted to downstream components in the optical train. The mirror provides only the first stage of energy reduction and must be used with an additional ERF filter and a suitable final filtering module.
Key features
• 200 mm diameter, 800 mm focal length and f/4 focal ratio • parabolic optical surface designed for a Newtonian telescope • low-thermal-expansion quartz glass substrate • precision polishing of both substrate surfaces • optical surface accuracy better than λ/8 P-V • multilayer dielectric coating optimised for the H-alpha and CaK bands • reflectivity exceeding 99% in both operating bands • first-stage spectral selection and solar-energy reduction function • no conventional aluminium reflective coating • intended exclusively for solar astrophotography
Items included
• Antlia SOLAR 200F4 Ha & CaK 200 mm f/4 primary mirror, without mounting cell
