ZWO FF90-APO 90 mm F/6.8 quadruplet OTA astrograph

The ZWO FF90 APO is a flat-field apochromatic astrograph with a 90 mm aperture, 609 mm focal length and f/6.8 focal ratio. The optical tube has been designed as a universal refractor for astrophotography and visual observation. The four-element air-spaced optical system includes one ED glass element, which helps effectively reduce chromatic aberration and provides a well-corrected image across a wide field.

The flat-field design includes built-in field correction, so the telescope does not require an additional field flattener. The 44 mm image circle allows the telescope to work with full-frame cameras. Unlike typical setups with an external corrector, the FF90 APO does not require one strictly defined working distance such as 55 mm. Focus is achieved within the focuser travel range and the permitted rear optical path length.

The telescope is equipped with a 3" rack-and-pinion focuser with a precise 1:10 microfocuser and a 360° rotator, allowing convenient frame adjustment without removing the camera. The retractable dew shield reduces the tube length during transport. The tube rings with carrying handle and quick-release system make installation easier, while the 230 mm Vixen-style dovetail plate includes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes.
