The Sky Rover Banner Cloud 30-60x85 APO is a high-end angled spotting scope designed for demanding nature observation, birdwatching, and landscape viewing. As part of the Banner Cloud series, it combines an 85 mm objective lens with an apochromatic optical system developed to deliver high sharpness, good light transmission, and effective control of chromatic aberration.
The spotting scope uses a triplet objective lens with two low-dispersion elements: one Super ED element and one ED element. According to the manufacturer’s materials, the Super ED glass reaches an Abbe number as high as 95, helping to reduce chromatic aberration very effectively. The optical system also uses lanthanum glass and aspherical elements, which help correct field curvature and distortion.
This model offers 30-60× variable magnification and an ultra-wide zoom eyepiece.
