The Astronomik ProPlanet 807 Clip-Filter EOS R APS-C (Astronomik, SKU: 10220101 / 8h11vm) is a specialist infrared filter designed for Canon EOS R APS-C mirrorless cameras. The ProPlanet 807 model was developed primarily for imaging the Moon and planets, especially Mars, with telescopes of 10" (250 mm) aperture and larger when seeing conditions are poor. The filter passes only IR radiation with wavelengths longer than 807 nm, which reduces the effects of atmospheric turbulence and allows a sharper image to be obtained than in the visible spectrum. It also darkens the sky background during advanced dawn, enabling imaging of the Moon and planets even in daylight conditions.
• IR-pass filter for Canon EOS R APS-C cameras
• designed for lunar and planetary imaging
• especially recommended for imaging Mars
• recommended for telescopes with 10" (250 mm) aperture and larger
• reduces the effects of seeing compared to imaging in the visible spectrum
• passes only infrared radiation above 807 nm
• darkens the sky background during advanced dawn
• enables imaging of the Moon and planets also in daylight
• can be used for imaging young stars hidden in dust clouds and star-forming regions
• intended for photographic use, not for visual observation
