The Astronomik CLS CCD Clip-Filter EOS R APS-C (Astronomik, SKU: 10220083 / 8h11va) is a light pollution suppression filter designed for Canon EOS R APS-C mirrorless cameras. The CLS CCD model was developed for astrophotography under light-polluted skies and effectively suppresses the brightness of the sky background, increasing the contrast between deep-sky objects and the background. Unlike the standard CLS filter, the CLS CCD version features an integrated infrared blocking filter, which is why it is intended for CMOS and CCD astronomical cameras as well as modified system cameras and DSLR cameras.
• light pollution suppression filter for Canon EOS R APS-C cameras
• designed for astrophotography under light-polluted skies
• increases contrast between deep-sky objects and the background
• features an integrated infrared blocking filter
• intended for CMOS and CCD cameras as well as modified cameras
• effectively suppresses sodium and mercury vapor lamp light
• suppresses LED lighting emission peaks and the lines of natural airglow
• allows an image with nearly natural color reproduction to be obtained
• can be used as a luminance filter for color imaging of emission-line objects under light-polluted skies
• can be used with optical systems with focal ratios from f/1.8 to f/15
